Over the past 30 years Lafferty has built up an extensive network of contacts in the cards and payments and retail banking sector through it research and publishing activities. This network is further enhanced by the Retail Banking Academy, our global Councils and OMFIF (the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum).
David studied Mathematical Science at University College Dublin, graduating with an honours degree in 2005. Before joining Lafferty Group, David has six years' experience as a risk analyst in banking, responsible for derivative valuations and areas of market risk such as interest rate and currency risk.
Fluent in Spanish, Patrick gained his degrees from University College Cork and the University of Maastricht, where he earned a master's degree in European Studies. While an undergraduate, he spent a year living and studying in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Between degrees, he lived in Madrid for three years, teaching and translating.
Formerly a producer at a daily current affairs show for KNPR radio in the United States, Fin has also taught at the University of Nevada and earned his Master's Degree at Columbia University, gaining a solid foundation in Economics among his elective courses. His work has appeared in the Irish Times, on the BBC World Service, and in the Dublin Review of Books.
